Basketball Recap: Field Takes a Loss

Field and St. Anselm's Abbey squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Field had to settle for second. They lost to the St. Anselm's Abbey Panthers on the road by a 55-41 margin. The defeat leaves the Falcons without a win on the season.

St. Anselm's Abbey's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Leeman led the charge by going 7 for 13 to rack up 15 points and eight boards. Rooke Payne was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Field's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for St. Anselm's Abbey, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Field does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Anselm's Abbey, they will be playing at home against McLean at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
