Appleton East and Neenah are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2017, but likely not for long. The Patriots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Appleton East will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

While Appleton East's victory against Wausau East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Lumberjacks on Saturday. While the Patriots didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Neenah unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of Kaukauna by a score of 4-3. Rockets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Galloping Ghosts since on Thursday.

Appleton East's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Neenah, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Appleton East couldn't quite get it done against Neenah in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-3. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
