Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for St. Teresa's Catholic

After losing to First Academy the last time they met, St. Teresa's Catholic decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The St. Teresa's Catholic Crusaders came out on top against the First Academy Lions by a score of 52-41 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Leading St. Teresa's Catholic to victory were Dyland Rangel and Michael Richard. Rangel posted 25 points, while Richard put up 19 points. Rangel is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 19 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Nick Marini, who had six points.

St. Teresa's Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for First Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

St. Teresa's Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against First Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
