Baseball Recap: Brazos Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Brazos's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hitchcock Bulldogs on Wednesday. The shutout was out of character for the Cougars seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

The defeat snapped Brazos' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-10 record. As for Hitchcock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brazos is set to face off against their familiar foe Van Vleck at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hitchcock will square off against rival East Bernard at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
