Jahmaree DeSett ran for two touchdowns and
Cameron Haney added two as well as
Cathedral (Los Angeles, Calif.) bested Pasadena (Calif.) 44-9 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a
Martaveous Holliday touchdown run in the first quarter, the Phantoms were up 30-9 at the half.
Cathedral grew its lead to 35 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by DeSett.
Cathedral's most effective player was DeSett. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
Pasadena's only touchdown came on an 80-yard kick return in the second quarter.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Phantoms came away with a 21-13 victory.
The win brought Cathedral's winning streak to three games.
In a non-conference game next week Cathedral (3-0) takes on Westchester, and Pasadena (0-2) will go up against Salesian also in a non-conference game.
