Volleyball Recap: Hilmar Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hilmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Escalon Cougars. The Yellowjackets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Hilmar actually scored more points across those five sets (107-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 13-25, 15-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Hilmar's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Escalon, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Hilmar didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Sonora on the 9th. As for Escalon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Hughson on the 9th.
