Recap: Quincy Blue Devils vs. Hannibal Pirates
The Quincy Blue Devils stacked a 20th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They blew past Hannibal, posting a 58-28 victory at home. The high-flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Quincy considering their 22-point performance the matchup before.
Quincy found their leader in underclassman Jada Brown, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Dade, who scored 16 points along with five assists.
Quincy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season. As for Hannibal, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
Quincy will head out on the road to face off against Moline at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing isn't great for Moline: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while Quincy has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road. Hannibal will take on Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hannibal is facing Marshall at the right time seeing as Marshall is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
