            Volleyball Recap: Duluth East Greyhounds vs. Spring Lake Park Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Duluth East was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They fell  2-0 to the Spring Lake Park Panthers. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in October of 2024.
 Ella Tormondsen paced Duluth East's offense, picking up nine kills. Tormondsen got some help from  Chelsea Zentz and her 22 assists.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Spring Lake Park to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Amilya Wordlaw, who  had nine  digs and five  aces. What's more,  Wordlaw posted two assists, the most she's  had  over her last five  contests.  Harper Kliber also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first assist of the season.
Duluth East's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Spring Lake Park,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 16-9-1.
 Duluth East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  2-0  victory against Nevis on the 18th. Spring Lake Park has also already played their next  matchup (against Champlin Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
