Winnebago won the last time they faced Walthill and things went their way on Monday too. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Blujays. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last nine times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

While Winnebago might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Walthill scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Cierre Vargas paced Winnebago's offense, picking up seven kills. Vargas got some help from Lula DeCora and her nine assists. Lettie Hulit controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Winnebago's victory bumped their record up to 7-19. As for Walthill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.

Winnebago will be playing at home against Homer at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Walthill, they will head out to challenge Omaha Nation on Thursday.
