Basketball Recap: Fremont Silverwolves vs. Highland Rams
Fremont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Highland Rams, falling 72-48. While losing is never fun, the Silverwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Rams are ranked tenth).
When it comes to explaining why Fremont lost, don't look at Easton Duft. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 19 on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Hadley, who posted nine points.

Even though they lost, Fremont smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

Ries has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last six times he's played. Jack Anderton was another key player, putting up 14 points and six rebounds.
Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Highland, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
Fremont wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-48 defeat against Olympus on the 20th. As for Highland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-80 victory against Weber on the 27th.
