Basketball Recap: Lincoln Prep Comes Up Short

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-11, which was the final score in the Lincoln Prep Lightning's tilt against the Pima Roughriders on Tuesday. The game marked the Lightning's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Pima got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sadie Richardson out in front who went 5 of 8 en route to 13 points and eight boards. Kelsi Brimhall was another key player, going 7 for 10 on her way to 17 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Lincoln Prep and nudges their season record down to 7-10. As for Pima, their record is now 18-6.

Lincoln Prep has already played their next contest, a 43-20 defeat against Glendale Prep Academy on the 30th. As for Pima, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-40 loss against San Carlos on the 31st.
