Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Illini West). They claimed a resounding 64-19 win over the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans. Given the Chargers' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Spartans are ranked 600th), the result on Monday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Illini West has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Illini West will take on Clark County in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they will be taking part in a tournament against Princeville at 10:30 a.m. on December 26th.
