Flag Football Recap: Hancock Central Takes a Loss

Hancock Central is still winless after their contest against Josey on Tuesday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eagles.

Hancock Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Josey, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Coming up, Hancock Central will face off against Washington-Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Josey, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Jefferson County at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed 6.9 points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them.
