Volleyball Recap: Coolidge Comes Up Short

Coolidge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Valley Christian Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15, 25-11.

Coolidge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Valley Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Coolidge will square off against rival Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Valley Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Apache Junction at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
