Ramona extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Michael Villagrana. The Rams were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Valley View Eagles on Monday with plenty of help from Villagrana, who had 19 digs and three assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Ramona never let Valley View on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Ramona's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Valley View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

Ramona does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley View, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Citrus Hill on the 22nd.
