Soccer Recap: Elk Lake Comes Up Short

Elk Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holy Cross Crusaders. That's two games in a row now that Elk Lake have lost by exactly two goals.

Elk Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Holy Cross, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coincidentally, Elk Lake and Holy Cross will both be playing Forest City the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will head out to face the Foresters at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Crusaders will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
