Volleyball Recap: Howells-Dodge Comes Up Short

Howells-Dodge extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 13-8. They came up short against the Stanton Mustangs, falling 3-0. The Jaguars were not able to make up for their loss to the Mustangs from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Despite the loss, Howells-Dodge still got an impressive performance from McKenzie Sindelar, who had 15 digs. Sindelar has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

As for Stanton, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Stanton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Rylan Hansen, who had eight digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Hansen a new career-high in assists (six).

Howells-Dodge has already played their next match (against Humphrey-Lindsay), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Stanton, they will face off against Randolph at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
