Basketball Game Preview: Tomas Gators vs. Columbia Roughnecks

The Tomas Gators will take on the Columbia Roughnecks in a tournament on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Tomas was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 52-48 to Alvin.

Columbia hadn't beaten Van Vleck on the road since December 4, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Roughnecks snuck past the Leopards with a 47-42 victory.

Columbia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Tomas, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
