Baseball Game Preview: Bleckley County Royals vs. West Laurens Raiders

The Bleckley County Royals will head out to challenge the West Laurens Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Laurens took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Bleckley County, who comes in off a win.

On Wednesday, Bleckley County got the win against Jefferson County by a conclusive 9-2. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, West Laurens lost 7-1 to Washington County on Wednesday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West Laurens' loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Bleckley County, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.

Bleckley County couldn't quite finish off West Laurens when the teams last played back in March of 2024 and fell 3-1. Can Bleckley County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
