Baseball Recap: William Creelman Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Nashoba Regional

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but St. Paul ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Nashoba Regional Wolves a 1-0 shutout. The Knights were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Wolves, so the Knights were just returning the favor.

Not much got past Cam Swank, who gave up just seven hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Nashoba Regional off the board. Swank has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, St. Paul saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Creelman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

St. Paul's record now sits at 6-12. As for Nashoba Regional, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9.

St. Paul does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nashoba Regional, they will face off against Algonquin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
