After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carlinville, Litchfield/Mt. Olive was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Southwestern Piasa Birds as Litchfield/Mt. Olive made off with a 30-6 victory. This was payback for Litchfield/Mt. Olive, who suffered a 27-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Litchfield/Mt. Olive got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Saathoff out in front who threw for 210 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 57 yards.
