Football Recap: Neumann Extends Winning Streak to Four

Neumann came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Orlando Christian Prep Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 31-13.

Neumann's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Louvens Bazile led the charge by rushing for 138 yards and a pair of scores. With that strong performance, Bazile is now averaging an impressive 100.8 rushing yards per game. Another passer making a difference was Peyton Frontino, who threw for 259 yards and one TD.

Neumann didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Orlando Christian Prep to a completion percentage of just 50%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Luke Tallstrom, Zachery Charlestin, and Terrence Calixte, who each logged two passes deflected. Neumann wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 57.7%.

Neumann's record now sits at 4-1. As for Orlando Christian Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Neumann didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 38-35 loss against Community School of Naples on the 26th. As for Orlando Christian Prep, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd.
