Leesville extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 1-5. They lost 33-7 to the Iowa Yellowjackets. The matchup marked the Wampus Cats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Leesville didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Julius Brown and Jaylen Tucker. With that strong performance, Tucker is now averaging an impressive 5.4 total tackles per game.

As for Iowa, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 36.0 points this season.

Iowa's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but J'Vien Adams led the charge by rushing for 132 yards and one score. What's more, he's the contest marked his fifth straight with at least 102. Another back making a difference was Kaston Lewis, who rushed for 40 yards and a pair of TDs.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Leesville will face off against DeRidder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Iowa, they will take on Washington-Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Charging Indians' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
