Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Southeastern on Thursday, Cleveland came back down to earth. The Panthers lost 7-1 to the Mustangs on Thursday. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 10-1.

Cleveland's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for Southeastern, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Southeastern beat Cleveland by a score of 6-1 later that day.
