Football Recap: Clinton Maroons vs. El Paso-Gridley Titans
Clinton had lost seven straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-8 to make it eight. They were beaten by the El Paso-Gridley Titans 64-0. The Maroons lost against the Titans in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 21-14 score last time.
As for El Paso-Gridley, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.6 points on average this season.
Aaden Adams had a dynamite game, rushing for 125 yards and four TDs on only seven carries, while also picking up 69 receiving yards and one score. Those 125 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Owen Adams was another key player, throwing for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
