Grant Kuntz Turns in Season-Best Effort

Grant Kuntz produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Fleming to the win on Friday. Kuntz wasn't messing around, rushing for 340 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 18.9 yards per carry. The contest was his seventh straight with two or more rushing touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 65 yards.

The win (which was Fleming's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Kuntz and Fleming will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Caliche at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Prairie found a leader in Lane Schock as the team took down Peetz on Friday. Nobody could stop Schock as he rushed for 256 yards and four touchdowns on only 11 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Prairie's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4. Schock and Prairie are taking a road trip to take on Stratton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Justin Schreiner's Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Justin Schreiner posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards. He also punched in four rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Prairie is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

This year, Schreiner has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 124.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 34.71 rushing yards per game.

Gavin Pittington Dazzles in North Park Victory

Thanks in part to Gavin Pittington, North Park said goodbye to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season. Nobody could stop Pittington on Saturday as he rushed for 262 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.

Weldon Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Pittington it was a similar story. Pittington rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries the last time he and the Warriors duked it out back in September of 2023.

Marchant Posts Huge Game in 66-28 Win

Conner Marchant was instrumental in extending Fleming's winning streak to seven on Friday. Marchant was dynamite, rushing for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

For the season, Marchant has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 78.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 7.5 rushing yards per game.
