Chugiak strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Dimond Lynx with a sharp 14-5 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 19-4 on Monday.

Isabel Sjostrand was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Torri Jolin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Chugiak kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive contests.

Chugiak's record now sits at 5-0. As for Dimond, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Chugiak wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-6 win against South Anchorage on the 16th. As for Dimond, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-8 victory against Service on the 15th.
