While East Limestone's win against Elkmont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Red Devils on Friday. That's two games straight that the Indians have won by exactly two runs.

The win made it two in a row for East Limestone and bumps their season record up to 17-10. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Elkmont, they now have a losing record of 13-14.

Elkmont has already played their next contest, a 6-0 victory against Decatur Heritage Christian Academy on the 18th. Hopefully East Limestone paid attention to the Red Devils' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
