Archbishop Hannan faced Dunham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Hawks fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Archbishop Hannan's defeat dropped their record down to 31-10. As for Dunham, their victory bumped their record up to 30-10.

Archbishop Hannan has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Denham Springs on the 31st. As for Dunham, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Riverside Academy on the 1st.
