Volleyball Recap: Clemente Takes a Loss

Clemente was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Intrinsic Mustangs.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-9.

Ethan Miranda was a one-man wrecking crew For Intrinsic. as he had 17 digs and six aces. The dominant performance also gave Miranda a new career-high in assists (three).

Clemente's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Intrinsic, they pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Clemente will host Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Intrinsic, they will head out on the road to challenge Schurz at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
