Soccer Game Preview: Luling vs. Gonzales

The Luling Eagles will head out to challenge the Gonzales Apaches at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Luling is headed into Tuesday's following a draw, the team's first since December 30. They and Yoakum finished up their match with a 3-3 draw on Friday.

Meanwhile, Gonzales entered their tilt with John F. Kennedy on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Rockets onto the board and left with a 3-0 win. The Apaches' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Luling's draw gives them a new season record of 6-3-3. As for Gonzales, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Luling might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Gonzales in their previous matchup last Friday. Can Luling avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
