Norton fell victim to Abington and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 1-0. The Lancers' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Norton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Rodriguez, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Norton's defeat dropped their record down to 16-2. As for Abington, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.
