Mia Eshleman was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and two steals for Kansas City East Christian Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Eshleman has scored all season. Brayisha Avery was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Applewood Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kansas City East Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-10 record this season.
