Soccer Game Preview: Hearne vs. Marlin

Hearne hasn't had much luck against Marlin recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Eagles will take on the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Hearne is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Robinson on Friday. They lost 4-0 to the Rockets. While losing is never fun, Hearne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 472nd, while Robinson are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Marlin came up short against La Vega on Friday, falling 9-1. Marlin haven't had much luck with La Vega recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Hearne's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Marlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-2.
