Basketball Recap: Leesburg Christian Prep Takes a Loss

Leesburg Christian Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 71-33 loss at the hands of the Liberty Christian Prep Lions. The Eagles were down 50-25 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jerry Harp, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of John- Michael Paredes, who posted 12 points.

Leesburg Christian Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Liberty Christian Prep, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Leesburg Christian Prep has already played their next matchup, a 58-41 defeat against Varsity Opponent on the 4th. Hopefully Liberty Christian Prep paid attention to the Eagles' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
