New Diana extended their postseason success on Saturday against Paradise. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Panthers 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Colt McDowell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Justice Hankins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

New Diana's win bumped their record up to 26-7-1. As for Paradise, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10-2.

Coming up, New Diana will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Boyd at 12:00 p.m. The Eagles are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Yellowjackets a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Paradise does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
