Basketball Recap: Chicago Sullivan Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Chicago Sullivan Tigers were beaten by the Intrinsic Mustangs 41-8. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 586th, while the Mustangs are ranked 227th).

This is the second loss in a row for Chicago Sullivan and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Intrinsic, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chicago Sullivan will be home for the holidays to greet Disney II at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chicago Sullivan is facing Disney II at the right time seeing as Disney II is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Intrinsic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Steinmetz College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
