Football Recap: Resurrection Comes Up Short Despite Morgan Schreiber's Big Defensive Game

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Resurrection's offense. They took a 12-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the DePaul College Prep Rams on Tuesday. The Bandits just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Even if they lost, Resurrection's defense still kept up the pressure with five sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Morgan Schreiber.

Resurrection's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for DePaul College Prep, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Resurrection is set to take on their familiar foe Von Steuben at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, DePaul College Prep will face off against rival Fenwick at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
