Basketball Recap: Molly Taylor and Madeline Dean Secure Win for Berkeley Prep

There's no place like home for Berkeley Prep, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 43-32 win over the Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans on Friday.

Berkeley Prep was led to victory by Madeline Dean and Molly Taylor. Dean dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 boards, while Taylor almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Berkeley Prep's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berkeley Prep will challenge Academy of the Holy Names at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Berkeley Prep is facing Academy of the Holy Names at the right time seeing as Academy of the Holy Names is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against IMG Academy Black at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
