Soccer Recap: Ellicott Takes a Loss

Ellicott came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-2 to the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions. Ellicott were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-2.

Micheya Stewart and Leslie Bruno scored both of Ellicott's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Ellicott now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Banning Lewis Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Ellicott wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Buena Vista on the 8th. As for Banning Lewis Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 7-1 defeat against Lamar on the 5th.
