Basketball Game Preview: Eagle River Wolves vs. Dimond Lynx

Eagle River is 0-10 against Dimond since February of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagle River Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dimond Lynx at 7:30 p.m.

Eagle River is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Friday. They had to suffer through a 81-15 loss at the hands of Bettye Davis East Anchorage. The contest marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Dimond faced Service in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Dimond snuck past Service with a 62-58 win. 62 seems to be a good number for the Lynx as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

The win (which was Dimond's third in a row) raised their record to 8-6. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Eagle River, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
