Softball Preview: Woodstock Wolverines vs. River Ridge Knights
Woodstock hasn't had much luck against River Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Woodstock Wolverines will square off against the River Ridge Knights at 3:00 p.m. Woodstock will be strutting in after a victory while River Ridge will be coming in after a loss.
Woodstock is headed into the contest having just posted their biggest win since August 12th on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over Marietta. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their one-run performance the game before.
Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for River Ridge's offense. They lost 8-0 to Buford on Wednesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Woodstock's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for River Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
