Baseball Recap: Andalusia Falls to Stanhope Elmore in First Game of Season

Andalusia had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Stanhope Elmore Mustangs by a score of 7-6.

Kielan Davis was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Noah Curry, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Stanhope Elmore and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coincidentally, Andalusia and Stanhope Elmore will both be playing Trinity Presbyterian the next time they take the field. Andalusia will head out to face Trinity Presbyterian at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Stanhope Elmore will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
