Baseball Recap: Ellicottville Triumphs

Ellicottville won the last time they faced Pine Valley Central and things went their way on Monday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 9-5.

Rylan Benjamin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Benjamin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

In other batting news, Ryan Norton was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
