Volleyball Recap: Rajko Baker and Carson Mingus Secure Win for Floyd Central

The Floyd Central Highlanders made easy work of the Evansville Memorial Tigers on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Highlanders.

While Floyd Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23, 25-16.

Leading Floyd Central to victory were Carson Mingus and Rajko Baker. Mingus had 29 assists and six digs, while Baker had 14 digs. That's the most digs Mingus has posted over his last three contests.

Floyd Central's victory bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Evansville Memorial, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.

Floyd Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Jeffersonville on the 4th. As for Evansville Memorial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Columbus East on the 2nd.
