Altamont took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Tuscaloosa Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Altamont beat Tuscaloosa Academy by a goal, winning 2-1. This was a revenge game for Altamont: when they faced off against Tuscaloosa Academy two weeks ago, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

Altamont is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7-1 record this season. As for Tuscaloosa Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 8-3 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Altamont is set to face off against their familiar foe Holy Family Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Tuscaloosa Academy will challenge rival Holy Spirit Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
