Basketball Recap: Strafford Makes It Six in a Row on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenwood, Strafford was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They managed a 56-50 win over the Norwood Pirates. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Norwood's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Peyton McDaris, who went 6 of 15 en route to 18 points, and Pierce Lawson, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Lawson a new career-high.

Strafford's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Norwood, they moved to 13-1 with that defeat, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.
