Softball Recap: Twin Lakes Comes Up Short

Twin Lakes might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was Highland who claimed the real prize. The Indians lost 18-3 to the Trojans. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Miya Clerget made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Taylor Oliver, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Twin Lakes' loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Twin Lakes has already played their next match, a 13-3 victory against Bethesda Christian on the 10th. As for Highland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-7 win against Rossville on the 10th.
