Softball Recap: Stansbury Comes Up Short

Stansbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-2 to the Desert Hills Thunder. The game marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kadence Spires made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Clairity Vargas was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Stansbury's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Desert Hills, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
