Bothell won the last time they faced Skyline and things went their way  on Wednesday too. The Cougars put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp  13-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won seven matchups by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Wyatt Mickelberry was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with four  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double. Those  four  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Blake Skinner, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 Bothell  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post 11 or more  hits.
Bothell has  been performing  well recently as they've  won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Skyline, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record  this season.
 Bothell will be playing at home against Inglemoor  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season. As for Skyline, they will venture away from home to  take on Eastlake  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8  runs per game  this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
